Good morning my friends and Chromebooks aficionados, casual users not to forget those who have not heard about them.
As in the past, our focus on the opportunities that this class of devices brings to the computing world leaving out the hype.
What can you really do with a Chromebook?
The answer is, everything you need to do if you are not tied to legacy machine based software. If your work and play environments are in the cloud, the Chromebook may be all you need.
Comparison is not reason.
Chromebooks are now used in classrooms and boardrooms across the world, based on what they can do not what other operating systems do. Yeah, Chromebooks do not do everything that window machines do, then window machines do not do everything Chromebooks do. There you have it.
In the cloud, in the future:
Cloud computing is both the present and the future but it will coexist with legacy systems, that is a fact. The adoption of Chromebooks coupled with the use of the cloud bring relief to the pressure that many IT departments are under: no longer having to run around installing updates, not having to back up every night, these professionals can now support the organization.
